Whether you're looking for a tall and shapely Norway Spruce, or a miniature Nordman Fir for your front lawn, you'll find an abundance of choice at our Christmas tree farm in Carlisle. Our Christmas trees are pruned year-round to ensure they maintain the beautiful conical shape we associate with the traditional image of Christmas, and range in size from decorative 2-foot table-top trees to huge 12-foot trees ideal for larger corporate and public spaces.
Caring For Your Tree
Our traditional Christmas trees are a no needle-drop species of the Norway Spruce family. To ensure your tree retains its needles for the festive seasons (and stays looking its best), we recommend:
- Using a metal stand with in-built water reservoir (usually available from B&Q and Homebase for under ten pounds).
- Storing your tree outside in a cool place, ensuring it has plenty of water until you are ready to move it into the house.
- Keeping your tree well away from sources of heat, such as radiators, cookers, gas and open fires.
- Ensuring your tree sits in at least 2-3 inches of water.

- Keeping your tree watered - a top-up every 1-2 days will usually suffice.
